is there is a possibility of ban if i resign from a company

Question :: Dear sir,I am an indian, am working as a service engineer at a dubai based company since six month. Now i have got an offer from an abudhabi based oil company I am planing to resign from the present company. As i have to join another company in same contry, is threre any possibility of ban from the present job sponse?

Answer :: It depends with your Labor Contract. If it is Limited Period Contract, the present employer may request for 1 year ban. because you have committed breach of contract. If it is Unlimited , you may have 6 months ban.
